BURGLARIES OF BUSINESS PREMISES
LONG MELFORD Westgate Street
Between Monday 29th August 23:00hrs and Tuesday 30th August 08:00hrs. Offenders entered the building and stole a safe containing a quantity of cash.
Tuesday 30th August 22:50hrs Suspects forced entry to an outbuilding and stole a petrol hedge trimmer.
GLEMSFORD Hunts Hill
Thursday 1st September 23:25hrs.
Suspects entered a property by force and stole cash. Two gaming machines were also damaged. A witness reported seeing a dark blue/black Ford Mondeo shape car driving down Hunts Hill towards the A1092 shortly after the incident.
GREAT CORNARD Joes Road
Thursday 1st Septermber around midnight.
Offenders forced entry to a premises .It is understood that a ride on mower or similar was stolen.

HALSTEAD Ronald Road
Sunday 28th August 04:10hrs. Suspect tried the door handle of victim’s bungalow causing the home owners dogs to bark and suspect was seen running away.
BOCKING Byng Gardens
Monday 29th August between 04:33hrs and 04:36hrs.
Suspect unidentified tried to force open a Upvc front door that was NOT double locked. Home Owners woke up due to the noise and outside light came on. Suspect then walked off across the front garden and was seen by the home owner.
HALSTEAD Abels Road. Between Saturday 13th August 00:012 hrs and Monday 29th August 13:01 hrs. Suspect unknown damaged the lock of victim’s garage whilst attempting to gain entry.
WITHAM Pinkham Drive
Sunday 28th August between 19:25hrs and 19:35 hrs.
Two male suspects were seen to enter the rear garden and one male was using a thin metal strip to attend to force open the French doors and two fan light windows but they were disturbed and no entry gained.
BRAINTREE Normandy Way.
Tuesday 30th August between 19:20hrs and 21:30hrs.
Suspect unknown attempted to gain entry by smashing a rear ground floor window and jemmying marks seen on rear back door and kitchen door .No entry gained.
DWELLING HOUSE AND OTHER BURGLARIES
TERLING Witham Road
Sunday 28th August between 11:00hrs and 20:00hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry to the rear of the property forcing the wooden patio door and items taken.
Tuesday 30th August 20:25hrs.
Suspect unidentified had gone round the back of the address tried to force open the patio doors unsuccessful .Suspect went to the front and jemmied open a front window. Items taken .Suspect then threw windowlene over the front window and ran off to an awaiting car.
Saturday 27th August between 04:30hrs and 18:00hrs.
Suspect unknown entered property by bending the rear kitchen window .Items removed and also the keys of a red Mini Cooper which was taken from the driveway.
Between 26th August 18:00hrs and Saturday 27th August 10:00hrs
Suspect unknown used an angle grinder to enter a Club House via the metal doors, nothing appears to have been taken.
Between Sunday 28th August and Monday 29th August.
Suspect gained entry by forcing the rear door and items taken.

Between Monday 29th August 23:00hrs and Tuesday 30th August 07:00hrs.
Suspect unknown entered the house and garage .Tools were taken.

Suspect unknown gained entry to white Ford Transit by removing the lock and items taken.

Between Friday 26th August 18:00hrs and Saturday 27th August 09:12 hrs.
Suspects unknown removed front and rear index plates from Ford Focus whilst parked in the road.

Tuesday 30th August between 14:00hrs and 18:55hrs.
Suspect unknown removed front and rear index plates from a black Land Rover Freelander
Between Thursday 25th August 18:00hrs and Tuesday 30th August 12:00hrs.
Suspect unknown removed both front and rear index plates from a blue Citroen C1.

Between Monday 29th August and Tuesday 30th August.
Suspect unknown stole the victim’s rear number plate from a black Peugeot 3087 by pulling them off.
Friday 2nd September between 07:00hrs/ 15:43 hrs.
Suspect unknown removed the front index plates to a black Ford Fiesta.
Between Tuesday 30th August 23:00hrs and Wednesday 31st August 06:30hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry to white Iveco and removed two tool boxes containing power and hand tools, an air compressor, two saws, a drill and a radio
THEFT OF APPLES FROM TREES

Between Thursday 25th August and Tuesday 30th August.
Suspect unknown gained access to victim’s garden from footpath along the side of the garden and removed twelve trees worth of apples.
DAMAGE TO MOTOR VEHICLE
BOCKING River Mead
Between Friday 26th August 18:00hrs and Saturday 27th August 10:00hrs. Suspect unknown caused damage to a silver Volkswagen Polo by scratching from front to rear on both sides of vehicle.
THEFT FROM GATE
GESTINGTHORPE Church Street
Friday 2nd September .
Suspect unknown removed the victim’s bolt and latch from his gates.
