ARMED ROBBERY-MAN ARRESTED.
WITHAM Highfields Road-ASDA
Wednesday 14th December 08:40hrs.
Essex Police were contacted with reports of two security guards being robbed at gun point by three men outside ASDA. The suspects got away with a six figure sum of money.

Thursday 15th December 22:30hrs.
A 34 year old man from Romford was arrested by Police Officers including specialist firearms Officers and he is currently in custody.


DISTRACTION BURGLARY
BOCKING Aetheric Road

Monday 12th December between 18:30hrs/18:51hrs.
Suspect unidentified knocked on the door saying they were from the Council to fix a leak then pushed past victim to gain entry, when challenged they left and nothing was taken.

BRAINTREE
Coldnailhurst Avenue

Between Friday 2nd December 17:00hrs and Sunday 11th December 04:24hrs.

Suspect unknown removed a green Alfa Romeo 147 which was then involved in an accident,
Cressing Road.

Between 30th October and Friday 10th December 10:44hrs.
Suspect unknown removed victim’s black BMW 330 parked outside house.













ATTEMPTED DWELLING HOUSE BURGLARIES.
PANFIELD Jaspers Green

Thursday 8th December between 00:00hrs and 00:19hrs.
Suspect unknown attempted to gain entry to premises by forcing entry to premises by forcing a back window opening tool marks and foot prints found at the scene.
HATFIELD PEVERAL The Green
Saturday 10th December between 21:55hrs and 22:14hrs.
Suspect unidentified climbed on to the cellar roof and tried to climb through victim’s bedroom window. The suspect was poking his head through the window and the victim began shouting .The suspect then jumped on to the roof of a neighbour’s garden and made off.
BOCKING Bradford Street
Between Sunday 11th December 11:45hrs and Monday 12th December 15:31hrs.
Three suspects unknown attempted to break into victim’s property but were disturbed.


DWELLING HOUSE BURGLARIES
GREAT WALTHAM Hyde Hall Lane

Tuesday 13th December. Suspect unknown gained entry to property and among the items taken were a distinctive blue ring and a black necklace (see picture).

WITHAM Olivers Drive

Tuesday 13th December between 07:45hrs and 22:45hrs. Suspect unknown gained entry via rear door but nothing appears to have been taken.

GOSFIELD Halstead Road

Between Tuesday 6th December 10:00hrs and Sunday 11th December 19:04hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry through rear UPvc patio doors by (it appears) unscrewing the doors at the bottom. Items taken included jewellery and contents of victim’s purse.

Between Monday 5th December and Friday 9th December 16:00hrs

Suspect unidentified stole victim’s phone by replacing it with a broken one.

WITHAM Chipping Hill/Braintree Road

Wednesday 7th December between 10:10:30hrs and 20:40hrs.
Suspect unknown stole victim’s purse from her bag.

BRAINTREE
Trotters Field

Between 18th November 00:00hrs and Sunday 4th December 08:27hrs.
Suspect unknown removed an unknown amount of cash from room in victim’s flat.

Fairfield Road

Between Sunday 11th December 13:00hrs and Tuesday 13th December 14:00hrs.
Suspect unknown removed victim’s mobile phone from UNATTENDED bag.


THEFTS FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
BOCKING Lyons Hall Road

Saturday 10th December between 00:00hrs and 07:312hrs.
Suspect unknown opened a rear door and stole power tools from red Transit Connect.

BOCKING Lancaster Way
Friday 9th December 18:00hrs and Saturday 10th December 16:05hrs

Suspect unknown gained entry to white Ford Transit Connect by jemmying the rear doors open. A number of tools were taken after lifting a metal ladder off them.
PANFIELD
Between Friday 9th December 01:00hrs and Sunday 11th December 00:11hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry to victim’s INSECURE blue Ford Mondeo and removed items










THEFT FROM SHOP
WITHAM The Newlands
Friday 16th December 15:15hrs.

Suspect unknown reached over the counter and removed cash from the till but was challenged by victim who took the money back from his hand.
