DWELLING HOUSE BURGLARIES.
HITCHAM Bury Road

Monday 26th December between 12:00hrs/22:15hrs.
An elderly couple returned home from celebrating Boxing Day with their family to find their house ransacked by burglars.
The couple are in their 70’s had been visiting their three sons and nine grandchildren and discovered two bedrooms had been turned upside down and that cash and jewellery was missing.
The jewellery taken was of great sentimental value because it included their engagement ring, eternity ring and a signet ring.
Offenders had forced entry to the rear of the property.

Between Thursday 29th December 00:00hrs and Friday 30th December 12:36hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry to property via INSECURE rear door and removed victim’s laptop
Coldnailhurst Avenue
Tuesday 27th December between 12:30hrs and 22:51hrs.
Suspect unknown entered victim’s dwelling house by bending a metal window frame and removed a sealed window from rear kitchen window frame. Items believed to have been stolen and then turned on the taps and removed metal pipework causing significant flooding.
Fairfield Road
Between Friday 23trd December 15:00hrs and Wednesday 28th December 08:22hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry to secure new property .Once inside a television was stolen.

Suspect unknown damaged victim’s blue Ford Mondeo by smashing the passenger wing mirror.
Between Saturday 24th December 00:00hrs and Tuesday 27th December.
Suspect unknown removed glass from wing mirror off rear side of white Fiat Doblo and caused scratches to outer casing.
Between Sunday 25th December 02:08hrs and Tuesday 27th December 14:23hrs.
Suspect unknown damaged victim’s silver Renault van by kicking the wing mirror door and window

Suspect unknown used a sharp implement to key along the nearside of victim’s secure unattended grey BMW 320.

Suspect unknown removed victim’s mini digger v £12,000 from victim’s property.

Suspect unknown removed a secure silver Renault Panel vans.












ATTEMPTED DWELLING HOUSE BURGLARIES.
BOCKING Flanders Close

Between Tuesday 27th December 20:30hrs and Wednesday 28th December 09:06hrs.
Suspect unknown used a pointed instrument to the bottom left corner to the downstairs toilet causing the outer glass panel to shatter- suspect then pushed the smashed glass towards the inside in an attempt to enter- but no entry gained.
BRAINTREE Railway Street
Between Friday 23rd December 13:00hrs and Saturday 24th December 13:39hrs.
Suspect unknown attempted to gain entry to property by forcing rear door – but no entry gained.
WITHAM Wickham Road
Between Monday 26th December 00:00hrs and Wednesday 28th December 17:16hrs.
Suspect unknown gained entry through the communal front door.
Once inside the block the suspect attended the victim’s premises and attacked the door with a jemmy/crow bar .But no entry gained.


MAN JAILED FOR BURGLARY.
SUDBURY Waldingfield Road.
Monday 14th November.

A 21 year old man was arrested on Friday 18th November and charged with theft of a wallet, purse and car keys, dangerous driving, driving a vehicle whilst disqualified and driving without motor insurance.
He appeared at
Ipswich Crown Court on Monday 19th December and was given a 996 day prison sentence.

Suspect unknown stole a black Honda 125 SH from victim’s front garden.

Between Tuesday 27th December 15:00hrs and Thursday 29th December 11:09hrs.
Suspect unknown entered victim’s garage and removed a Matchless MGM 70 1955 motorbike
